Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing the Sales team with operational support, from validating and creating quote requests, to researching account information, to supporting regional marketing initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Helps coordinate any regional Sales events that support the retention of existing clients or growth of client base.
- Supports VP's/Directors in coordinating any pertinent activities that support the annual sales plan as well as the Regional Office.
- Completes marketing /technical research, holds discussions with various members including but not limited to the New Business Development team, Product Marketing and Operations to gather or verify the information related to general product understanding and descriptions, unique selling points/competitive advantages and weaknesses/limitations.
- Helps coordinate sales meetings.
- Supports sales team as needed.
- Performs other duties as required.
**Qualifications**:
- College degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Sales, Communications or a related field is required.
- Bilingual in French strongly preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in Sales support within a corporate setting.
- Knowledge of media monitoring and analysis services (press, broadcast, online, social) or related industries is a significant asset.
- Advanced communication skills to understand stakeholder queries and clarify information, policies or processes. Strong collaborator who can readily adapt to differing needs and priorities.
- Fluency in French, oral & written is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail, strong people skills, good judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work with people in various levels within the organizational hierarchy and to work independently and as a member of a team.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite is preferred, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, CRM and Adobe Pro
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce is preferred.
