**Night Auditor, Part time**

The Holiday inn Express and Suites Edmonton SW-Windermere is located 6125 Andrews Loop SW Edmonton. Our profession team is looking for **Night Auditor **to for join our busy and professional team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervises and administers all night audit functions
- Balances all revenue and settlement accounts nightly
- Ensures that all daily transactions are reconciled and accounted for in accordance with set policies and procedures
- Maintains files and resets the system for the next day of operations
- Follows up promptly on guests requests and issues
- Provides excellent customer service to all guests
- Welcomes and greets all guests, performs check in and check out procedures
- Answers guest inquiries and provides assistance in a professional manner
- Answers all incoming phone calls and takes reservations
- Act as the hotel system Opera during night hours including calling in to open tickets with PMS system support during the overnight hours if a system fails or issues occur.
- Accurately follows cash handling procedures
- Adheres to all department and Company’s policies and procedures
- Ensures guests’ security by the proper handling of guest room keys and personal information
- Performs any other job related duties as assigned

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Hotel Night Audit/Front Office experience is a MUST
- Experience with the Opera PMS is a prerequisite
- Proficient using a computer, good knowledge of excel and basic accounting principles
- University/College Diploma is preferred
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Passion for customer service, enthusiastic, detail oriented, computer literate, fast learner
- Organized and able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Excellent communications skills
- Works well under pressure in a changing environment
- Fluency in English, written and verbal; a second language is an asset
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to stand for an 8 hour shift
- **Must be able to work evenings, overnights including weekends and holidays**:

- Main shift will be 11:00 pm to 7:00 am or 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-32 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
