A small company with big opportunities: iProgen Biotech Inc., is a biotech company focused on the research and development of innovative next-gen precision biotherapeutics. We are currently collaborating with a variety of research institutions across North America and in Europe and are continuing to expand the scope and number of collaborations.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Routine maintenance and culture of mammalian cells (tumor cell lines and primary cells)
- Perform cell-based validation assays
- Assist in development and troubleshooting of new procedures
- Survey scientific literature as required
- Detailed documentation and reporting of scientific experiments
- Preparation of solutions and ordering of reagents and lab supplies as required

**Qualifications**
- Recent university graduate with a BSc in Microbiology / Immunology / Biochemistry / Biology
- Previous co-op or work experience in cell culture techniques is an asset (1 year or longer preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must demonstrate critical thinking and thorough understanding of laboratory techniques
- Must be highly motivated with the ability to learn and grow in the company
- Leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise co-op students is desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $39,000.00-$42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- mammalian cell culture: 1 year (preferred)
