**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Lab Supervisor will be responsible for the planning and daily management of the department and will follow performance standards and procedures.
- Supervise Quality Control team, including allocation of responsibilities and workload and undertake hands-on Quality Control tasks
- Participate in orienting and training new employees
- Provide regular feedback to Operations Manager regarding quality performanc and issues
- Participate in the development of processes and procedures in the Quality Control Department. Ensure all members are properly trained and follow processes and procedures in their day to day activities
- Communicate in-house quality perfromance metrics
- Shall have such duties and responsibilities as are assigned to him/her from time to time by management of the company
- His/her principal place of work will be Leamington, Ontario
**EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE**:
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Ability to work as a team
- Commitment to accuracy and detail oriented
- Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Strong problem indentification and problem resolution skills
- Must have their own transport
**EDUCATION**:
- Biology Diploma is an asset
- Leadership Training
**HOURS**:
- Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm with occasional overtime and weekends
