**Job Overview**:
Responsible to unpack, inspect, repair and store general construction equipment. Assist in warehouse with material handling, loading, and unloading trucks using various material handling equipment. Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety policies and practices.

**Duties Include**:
**1. Material Handling, Shipping/Receiving**
- Load and unload all shipments, this includes LTL & FL shipments as well as courier and small parcel deliveries.
- Ensure inventoried materials and/or equipment is returned to inventory storage areas once serviceability has been verified and/or repairs have been completed.
- Determine the best method to package material /equipment to assure no damage is incurred during transport.
- Operate a counter balance lift truck.
- Identify material/equipment to be packaged and shipped; perform packing and loading of equipment.
- Stage, unpack and inventory returned tool shipments from site/regions and move to appropriate location for internal processing.
- Manage inventory shipped to third party vendors for repair and recertification and schedule all service work.

**2. Health & Safety**
- Ensure that all required P.P.E. are worn in accordance with company policy.
- Perform general housekeeping as required to ensure that warehouse floors are kept clean and free from hazards at all time; empty waste bins.
- Maintain clear access to fire exits, road ways, and loading docks at all times.

**3. Inventory**
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (ToolHound)
- Liaise with Tool Stores Administrator on a daily basis to confirm contract details, inventory accuracy and to maintain divisional inventories.

**4. Equipment Maintenance**
- Perform general maintenance on equipment as per the training matrix.
- Ensure that maintained equipment is in a usable condition that meets or exceeds the manufacturer recommendations.

**5. Other duties as required by the company**

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES**:

- Basic knowledge of tool use, maintenance and repair.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Trained in and/or licensed to operate handling equipment an advantage.
- Experience with packaging and transportation of equipment to ensure material and/or equipment is shipped quickly, safely and correctly.
- 3-5 years of practical hands on warehouse, inventory control experience preferred.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

Frequent periods spent sitting in same location (at computer when preparing documentation).Regular periods during which there is extended physical exertion required (e.g. walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward). Occasional exposure to factors such as temperature variations/extremes, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, toxic materials which cause periods of high level discomfort and/or a noticeable risk of accident or illness which cannot be eliminated from the job. Frequent need to give concentrated attention for extended periods of time with one or two senses at a time, where stimuli are changing. There is continuous pressure from deadlines, quotas, accuracy or similar demands.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $22.00 per hour
