**Job Title: Car Hauler Independent Contractors and/or Owner Operators**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely load and unload vehicles onto car hauler trailers using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Secure vehicles properly using straps, chains, and other safety equipment to prevent damage during transportation.
- Inspect vehicles before and after transport to ensure they are in good condition and report any damages or issues.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving and operating the hauler truck.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any changes to schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance on the hauler truck and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, providing excellent customer service to clients.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial truck driver, preferably in car hauling or similar industry.
- Knowledge of safe loading and securing practices for transporting vehicles.
- Ability to operate and maneuver a hauler truck with precision and care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and weekends as needed.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of loading and unloading vehicles.
- Knowledge of Vancouver and surrounding areas is an asset.
