YOUR Legal Services is growing and is looking to add a talented and knowledgeable law clerk to our team.

This position is full time (Monday to Friday) and requires attendance at either our Welland office or our St. Catharines office.

Areas of practice are as follows:

- Civil Litigation
- Real Estate

**Duties**:

- Assist in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, contracts, and agreements, prepare files for closing (Real Estate)
- Organize and maintain document management systems to ensure efficient retrieval and storage of files
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and clarity
- Perform data entry tasks to update case information and maintain accurate records
- File documents with the court or other relevant entities as required
- Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and paralegals, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and making travel arrangements
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, and filing

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software
- Data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong administrative and clerical abilities

Pay: $750.00-$800.00 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- law clerk: 1 year (preferred)
