Position Title**: Golf Course Ground Keeper/ Manager

Reports To**: General Manager

Position Summary**:
As a Golf Operations Ground Keeper, you are responsible for maintaining the day to day Golf course services to assure high standards and total customer satisfaction.

He/She should be a detail-oriented with strong guest-centric, business and organisational skills along with a passion for the game of golf.

Golf Course maintenance Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 60 pounds, must be able to withstand a range of outside weather conditions (heat/cold, rain/snow, etc.), able to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight, sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend and twist for long hours.
- Regular golf course maintenance include but not limiting to:

- Operate equipment and power tools, including utility vehicles, mowers and tractors to perform routine maintenance such as mow, trim, irrigate, and fertilize the course as needed
- Set tee markers and hole placement on greens
- Mowing the green everyday
- Filling the divots daily
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in safe working order
- Following all safety and sanitation policies
- Perform course service and setup
- Prepare for the opening season and clean up after the closing season

- Prerequisites**:

- Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to focus attention on golfer needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, be friendly and personable.
- Self-motivated with the desire to promote and market.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Previous golf course maintenance or landscaping experience is an asset

- **Experience**:

- Golf Course Ground Keeper or similar role from a Golf club is an assest
- Possesses knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions and safety regulations related to golf activities and other work related precautions.

Compensation:
To proper maintain and operate a golf course, a house in the golf course can provide for you to live in and manage the course.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
