As a Student Retail Sales Associate, you will respond to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns, while providing an exceptional customer experience. Led by the Retail Store Manager, this opportunity suits a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Weekdays - 2:00pm to 6:00pm
- Saturdays - 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Sundays - 12:00pm to 5:00pm

- Provide a courteous and efficient customer experience to all customers.
- Heavy lifting required on occasion to unload truck shipments and load customer orders into vehicles.
- Provide customers with advice on appropriate merchandise and related items.
- Process cash, credit card, and debit card payments through the POS system and Moneris banking terminals.
- Ticketing and replenishing merchandise.
- General retail tasks and housekeeping such as merchandise replenishment, organizing gondolas, shelves, the power aisle, and storage areas.

**We’re looking for**:

- Must be a minimum 16 years of age or older, and currently enrolled in high school, college or university.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills with a friendly helpful attitude.
- Retail experience an asset.
- The role involves regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing, and requires the ability to consistently lift and carry up to 50 pounds without difficulty.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays, at our Retail Hardware Store in St Jacobs.
