You have experience in international shipping, receiving, inventory management, and a passion to grow your career in supply chain. You want to be a part of a thriving small team and you have great communication and teamwork skills.

**Duties will include**:
Your tasks within the department will be split between two key responsibilities:
**Logistics**
- Preparing the necessary forms for small package and LTL shipments worldwide of scientific instruments and lab chemicals
- Following up with UPS, FedEx, and DHL to resolve issues, then escalating to the appropriate channel
- Responsible for working with Inside Sales and our International partners to ensure instrument RMAs are returned without custom issues
- Accountable for ensuring our products HS codes are up-to-date and we are in compliance with changing shipping standards and regulations
- Final packaging and labelling of instruments and consumable products
- Counting, sorting and inspecting incoming packages to verify receipt against supplier packing slips, then entering information into our inventory management system
- Being the gatekeeper for anything entering or leaving the facility to ensure it’s tracked according to our processes
- Other tasks as required

**Inventory Control**
- Ensure IQC is performed when required
- Organize and manage supplies required for shipping and receiving
- Be the master of knowing the inventory locations of lab consumables and production materials
- Print labels for inventory items
- Data entry for various inventory transactions
- International shipping and receiving experience
- Experience creating commercial invoices, CERS Declarations (B13), TSCA Declarations
- Organized and detail-oriented personality
- A keen eye for quality and process improvements
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Quick learner
- A proactive and forward-thinking approach to work
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Ability to contribute effectively independently and in a team environment, while interacting professionally and respectfully with others
- Strong ability to operate in a dynamic work environment that requires flexibility, multi-tasking, and prioritizing

**Bonus to have**:

- Knowledge of the Biotech or Medical Device industry
- FDA customs clearance
- Cold chain shipping
