Optician, student Optician, or Equivalent training in an Optical.

Any retail experience and specifically in the art of frame and lens selection, adjustments, and trouble-shooting is an asset. You have excellent communication skills, and you can prioritize your time to thrive in a busy retail environment. You are an optimistic, cheerful person, who is interested in people. You appreciate great customer service and you pride yourself in the way you present yourself and the work you perform. You are flexible and possess problem-solving skills. You can work independently, but can also collaborate with your colleagues to get tasks done.

TASKS:

- Listening and understanding the patient's lifestyle and recommending the best options that meets his/her desires for value and quality
- Educating patients about the advances in corrective eyewear solutions
- Guiding with selection of frames to suit the patient's aesthetic and visual needs
- Obtaining frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of glasses.
- Performing repairs and adjustments to the patient's glasses
- Understanding the demographics to our office and aiding in the frame inventory selection process
- Arranging and maintaining the retail display area

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
