**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in of Production and Warehousing at the Airport Way Facility
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities;
- Accountable for projects focusing on continuous improvement of assigned KPIs
- Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments;
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards;
- Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques;
- Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests;
- Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements:

- Hire and negotiate with contractors as required
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures;
- Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action; and
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering or related field;
- 5 Years of leadership experience in Manufacturing or Warehousing
- WHMIS training/certification preferred;
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes/procedures;
- Proactive mindset and ability to self-motivate;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) coupled with strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with a variety of personalities in a dynamic environment.

**YOUR EXPERIENCE**:

- 5 years’ experience within food manufacturing or similar environment as a Production Manager; Cannabis industry considered an asset;
- Experience working in GMP/GPP facilities; and
- Previous experience working in the regulated cannabis industry is considered an asset.
