LPA, the architectural firm within the KGC Team is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and organized individual to join their Abbotsford office as an Architectural Project Coordinator This role is all about building technology, interdisciplinary coordination and drafting production. As well as a lot of fun along the way.

The Architectural Project Coordinator will work as part of our architectural group supporting LPA. You will help prepare and coordinate all aspects of architectural work inclusive of preliminary design, technical design preparation, code compliance reviews, interpreting architectural as well as engineering drawings and information, review construction sites as part of our construction administration commitments and ensure compliance with the permit processes and protocols in place.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a variety of project-related administration duties, including project tracking and project reports.
- Develop the architectural design documentation as needed under direct professional supervision.
- Coordinate between architectural and engineering disciplines and design staff to streamline and standardized project delivery.
- Maintain regular and timely communications with project team members and clients to ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve issues and to avoid
- Provide support to the project team during the construction phase with requests for information, drawing reviews, and design changes.
- Conduct site visits and reviews of projects during the construction phase.
- Organize, attend and participate in project meetings.
- Assist with the project closeout process.
- Monitor and coordinate multiple tasks and projects at once.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Between 3 - 5 years experience in an administrative /drafting production /professional environment, ideally in consulting offices.
- Post Secondary diploma or certificate in a related field
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous records maintenance skills
- Effective written and verbal skills to communicate internally and e
- A self-starter and team player
- Strong customer service orientation
- A valid drivers license is required
