The Food Service Catering Worker (General Help) is responsible for setting up, servicing, and cleaning all catering functions while providing customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Mainly working in the morning but not limited to from time to time you will be scheduled based on operational needs for evenings and weekends

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Able to read & understand client orders
- intermediate understanding on types of food & beverage services & food trends
- Able to work in a team or individually. Proactive while also listening to instructions
- Able to set food & beverage stations based on clients need per their order
- Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and representing Aramark in a professional manner
- Maintains excellent customer service & positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- Properly stores food & equipment by adhering to food safety policies & procedures
- Breaks down, cleans & sanitizes food & beverage stations & back of house station
- Serves food to customers while ensuring gest satisfaction & anticipation the customers' needs
- Replenishes catering items & ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels
- Maintains excellent customer service & positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies & procedures including proper food safety & sanitation
- Ensures security of company assets
- Other duties & tasks as assigned by manager

**Qualifications**:

- Previous catering experience preferred
- Must be able to obtain food safety certification
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying pushing, pulling of up to 25lbs
- Able to work independently

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
