**Description:
- Permanent Full Time- We are looking for a **_Manager, Governance and Risk Reporting._**
- The Manager, Governance and Risk Reporting will work closely with the Director, Information Security Management System and Technology Risk Leaders to visualize and influence the governance and oversight of risks, controls, issue remediation, and all key inputs to the ISMS. This role will be responsible to work with business and technology teams to scale, promote and adopt and influence security best practices ensuring continued governance using data.**What you will do**- Lead data visualization/risk reporting, governance and oversight of activities impacting Canada Lifes security posture, key risk programs, issue management, and control effectiveness.
Responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights that support business decisions. Reporting Analysts create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Responsible for maintaining Risk Control Statements and Risk Functional Indicators for Canada Life across all Business Technology Portfolios
Detail-oriented Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights and recommendations to the management team. In this role, you will be expected to design and generate reports, as well as identify trends and patterns to help improve business operations. Collect and analyze data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis.
Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics.
Skills in data visualization, data analysis, and machine learning, by creating and presenting interactive dashboards, reports, and models

**What you will bring**- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or relevant Data Analytics, Measurement and Risk Reporting
2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL
Ability to work with large datasets and analyze complex data
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting risk probabilities and modeling
Knowledge of database design and data warehousing principles
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Knowledge of ISMSOnline platform and GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) implementation and execution is an asset
Strong Understanding of information security controls across broad spectrum of platforms
Proven ability to identify, analyze and translate information security risk in the context of what it means to achieving business objectives
Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results to enhance security posture and reduce risk

Demonstrated capability to build and foster strong relationships through collaboration, influencing change, and building consensus
Constant learner and passion for technology and risk governance
Deep understanding of how large enterprise organizations work, within in a regulated environment
Excellent track record of leading and developing high performing teams
- The base salary for this position is between **$74,500****:

- $137,900** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
