About the opportunity
Dayforce is looking for a Production Support Specialist II to join our Cloud Hosting team
- Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM EST

What you’ll get to do
- Provides technical support on file transmission activities for a production processing environment
- Detects, diagnoses, and reports problems related to file transmissions
- Follows escalation procedures, when appropriate, to resolve incidents, problems, or known errors promptly
- Assists development teams in requirements definition, system design, and delivery of projects
- Verifies technical specifications for development projects
- Participates in disaster recovery activities, including the development and maintenance of documentation
- Conducts production support validations
- Maintains and ensures audit items are accounted for (SOC1 & SOX)
- Participates in change management reviews, confirmation of changes implemented, and validates associated documentation
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills and experience we value
- Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner to all appropriate audiences including executive-level
- Computer Science degree/cert or equivalent experience
- File Transmission knowledge
- Skill in basic diagnostic techniques and corrective actions to resolve day-to-day problems
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills and manage conflict
- Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools including escalation practices
- Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- General business skills, industry knowledge, and planning skills

- Ability to utilize judgment in decision-making progress and decisions related to the job tasks
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients, and public
