Support Worker

**About the Role**:
We are currently hiring dedicated and compassionate **Support Workers** to join our growing team. This full-time position is based in a group home setting and involves working with individuals with multiple diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and other complex behavioral and medical needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential group home setting
- Implement and follow individualized Behaviour Support Plans
- Assist in the management and administration of medication schedules
- Monitor and document behaviours and progress accurately and consistently
- Support with de-escalation strategies and physical containment as required
- Assist with daily living tasks including hygiene, meals, and activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment at all times
- Collaborate with other team members, clinicians, and supervisors
- Participate in ongoing training and development

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years with a valid **G-Class Driver’s License** (asset)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Safe Management Certification (preferred)
- CPI or NVCI Certification (an asset)
- PSW, DSW, SSW or related education (preferred but not required)
- Experience working with individuals with Autism and/or developmental disabilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating continental schedule (including weekends and holidays)
- Physically capable of performing the job duties, including containment and crisis intervention

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
