RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Act as a support to the Boutique Manager by assisting with management duties (opening/closing, pulling transfers, merchandising, cleaning etc.)
- Support in leading a high performing customer facing and service orientated team.
- Coach and provide feedback to the team as necessary to ensure all customers are given the MAJ standard of service.
- On the spot problem solving for both online and in-store purchases.
- Create a genuine experience for customers and give honest and personalized styling options for in-store and virtual appointments.
- Learn the ins and outs of bracelet welding and engraving, plus a willingness to supervise and schedule/facilitate these experiences on a daily basis.
- Stay up to date with detailed knowledge on new and existing products.
- Act as a positive brand ambassador for MAJ, ensuring elevated levels of professionalism, customer service and various operational tasks are always top of mind and consistently maintained.
- Expertly process all customer exchanges and returns efficiently and according to company policy.
- Assess, process and follow through on all in-store customer repairs.
- Participate in inventory control/communicate any issues or concerns to Management.
- Individually and collectively ensure that all MAJ policies and procedures are adhered to and followed on a daily basis.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Retail experience - min of 2 years with at least 1 year experience in a supervisory position
- Prior experience working in jewelry production/repair
- At least 1 year of experience with a gravotech engraving machine and sunstone welding machine
- Available to work a minimum of 30+ hours a week.
- Natural leader with some experience in supervising, coaching and supporting others.
- Focused on development and growth.
- Enjoy working in a team-focused environment and is comfortable communicating and sharing ideas.
- Passion for jewelry and current fashion trends.
- Strong POS skills (experience with Shopify, Lightspeed and Acuity)
- Ability to problem-solve, exercise common sense, and the flexibility to learn about and support different areas of the business.
- Possess a strong sense of initiative, organizational skill, and a can-do attitude.
- Available holidays, evenings and weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
