- Maintain compliance and reduce the environmental impact of our facility.Follow workplace organization (5s principles).
- Perform pre-inspection on Tractor/Trailer (daily) / Container (as required) prior to start of shift and document.
- Perform maintenance duties, battery check, oil check, tire checks etc., as required.
- Obtain manifest/document for all container/trailer moves.
- Performs driving duties between various ramp locations on the customers property.
- Drop assigned containers into designated ramp and dock door, remove the emptied container and bring to a designated location on customer property.
- Deliver or pick up emergency parts from outside the customer plant as requested.
- Participate in corrective action (using problem resolution process) activities, when required.
- During winter months ensure tractors are plugged in and that the cabs are clean and ready for the next shift.
- Refuel tractors at an offsite facility to ensure the tractor is always fueled. Document on log the amount of fuel that is indicated on the fuel gauge at the end of each shift.
- Shuttle in wood pallet trailer

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Willing to work overtime/ weekends when required
- Support any continual improvement initiatives.
- Recommend improvement suggestions
- Participate in corrective action (using problem resolution process) activities, where required.
- Any other duty as assigned.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

AZ Commercial Driving License mandatory.

Skills/ experience level:
Minimum 3 years experience in a related position in an automotive or similar work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.40-$22.90 per hour
