We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

**Position: Personal Support Worker (PSW)**

**Location**: Welcome Home Residence

**Responsibilities**:As a Personal Support Worker at Welcome Home Residence, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and assistance to our residents. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and community.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate medical professionals.
- Administering medications and following proper documentation procedures.
- Assisting with housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
- Participating in recreational and therapeutic activities that enhance residents' quality of life.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

**Qualifications**:.
- Valid CPR certification and valid Ontario Drivers License.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to enhance the lives of others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a congregate care or similar healthcare setting is an asset.

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week
