Hamilton, Canada 3D warehousing and logistics Full time

You will work regularly with warehouse, office, and management staff. You will also be confident in taking telephone calls for customer requests.

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for a wide variety of clerical duties in support of the daily warehouse operations.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Answers incoming calls from Carriers or Customers and confirms booking appointments for in & outbound schedules.
- Answers incoming calls from Carriers or Customers and confirms booking appointments deliveries and pickups.
- Creates shipping documents and prepares other paperwork as necessary to meet customer needs.
- Assembles data and prepares periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence as required by the Warehouse Manager & Billing dept.
- Matches shipping documents to orders shipped.
- Ensures effective communication from the office to the warehouse.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies**:

- 2 or more years of office administration, load booking, customer service and/or inventory control experience in a warehouse environment (asset).
- Must be proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to work as a team or individually.
- Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter and a team player.
- Exceptional computer knowledge with respect to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel specifically).
- Ability to quickly learn warehouse management software.

Wage: $19 - $22 per hour

Dayshift, Monday to Friday
