**Job description**

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for a wide variety of clerical duties in support of the daily warehouse operations.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Receives orders and prepares them to be picked.
- Answers incoming calls from Carriers, OR Customers and confirm booking appointments for in & outbound schedules working with the Supervisor.
- Prepares export paperwork as well as extra labels needed for a product’s destination.
- Book’s online portal appointments for delivery.
- Keeps inventory of warehouse supply and requests orders through main office.
- Creates forms, letters, reports, and memos, as necessary.
- Assists in the compilation of data for various reports.
- Observes and reports any security issues to Warehouse Manager.
- Assembles data and prepares periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence as required by the Warehouse Manager & Billing dept
- Co-ordinates with the front office to ensure orders are shipped as requested by customer.
- Matches shipping documents to orders shipped.
- Ensures effective communication from the office to the warehouse.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Management.

**Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies**:

- 3-5 years of office administration experience in a warehouse environment (asset).
- Must be proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to work as a team or individually.
- Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter and a team player.
- Exceptional computer knowledge with respect to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel specifically).
- Ability to quickly learn warehouse management software.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
