Acquired in 2018 by Tidan, this hotel is located in the heart of the Montreal metropolis. The Marriott Château Champlain is a 1-minute walk from the metro, accessible by an underground route, adjacent to the Bell Centre. This iconic Montreal hotel was completely renovated in 2021, with 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, 25 meeting rooms, and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. **Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the Maintenance Coordinator provides administrative support to the director and their team to streamline and optimize operations.**

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Maintenance Team Management**:

- Collaborate closely with the director to coordinate the maintenance team, ensuring the monitoring of task lists, maintenance requests, training sessions, schedule preparation, and payroll-related information management.
- Manage record-keeping and logs for tracking preventive maintenance programs.

**Internal Coordination**:

- Ensure the coordination and monitoring of ongoing files and projects within the company to guarantee operational efficiency.
- Prepare purchase orders using the TIPALTI software.

**Contractor and Fire System Inspections Management**:

- Establish contact with contractors and fire system inspectors, coordinating their work to meet established deadlines.

**Procurement Process**:

- Assist the director in the process of ordering materials and equipment, including preparing purchase orders.

**Report Writing**:

- Produce various reports necessary for monitoring the department's activities.

**Document Management**:

- Take responsibility for the filing and organization of documents related to maintenance operations.

**Qualifications and Required Skills**:
**Education**:

- Diploma in administrative management or College Diploma (DEC) in hotel management.

**Experience**:

- Three years of experience in this type of role or relevant experience in a similar function.

**Organization**:

- Strong sense of priorities and organization to effectively manage multiple tasks.

**Communication and Teamwork**:

- Proven skills in communication and collaborative work within the team.

**Autonomy**:

- Ability to work independently and show initiative in a demanding environment.

**IT Skills**:

- Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

**Languages**:

- Advanced proficiency in French and English to facilitate communication with various stakeholders.
