**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Complete scheduled, preventative, routine and emergency maintenance as directed.
- Ensure property, grounds and vacant suites are kept clean by performing custodial duties such as garbage removal, litter pickup, sweeping, readying recyclable and composting bins, snow removal, and general cleaning of workspace.
- Perform in-suite maintenance when needed.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all building mechanical systems such as pumps, boilers and emergency generators.
- Inspect vacant suites and report on condition.
- Maintain a clear understanding and compliance with all operational and safety standards.
- Travel to various properties to perform grounds maintenance, routine inspections, property showings, and respond to emergency service calls.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and office staff on general day to day operations.
- Oversee and prioritize maintenance and renovation projects while liaising with trades, contractors, and housekeeping to ensure turnover timelines are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum two years of maintenance experience
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with the emergency operation of electrical systems, elevator, boiler, fire panel, life safety systems, mechanical systems, sprinklers, and timer systems
- Ability to develop and sustain cooperating working relationships with staff, contractors, the public, and especially residents
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with seasonal workload fluctuations and changing priorities
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Comfortable working in a culture of accountability
- Availability for emergency response and on-call duty if required
- Basic computer skills including Word and Outlook
- Must be able to lift and move at least 25 kilograms

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
