RBT 40 hour online training course). **Regions**: Brantford, Hamilton and Surrounding Regions **Settings**:Live-in Treatment, Hospitals, Private Homes and other Community Based Settings **wm+a can offer you**: - Flexibility of work: work options based on your availability and skill sets. - Team Support: 24-hour access to on-call support when needed. - Technical infrastructure: online scheduling, data and CRM system. - Professional development: clinical training opportunities: ABA, OCD, ADHD, ODD, FASD and more - RBT (Registered Behaviour Technician) 40-hour online training content available to active associates via alphabeePRO: Home - alphabeePRO - In-house trainings: CPI, SMG, UMAB, ABA and RBT Introduction. **Responsibilities**: - Providing individualized direct support to clients who have been diagnosed with a Developmental / Intellectual Disability often with a dual diagnosis and are experiencing a behaviour and / or mental health crisis and who present with complex needs. - Work with client in their setting: live-in treatment; hospital; family home; the community at large etc. - Collect and manage data/daily documentation relevant to the clients’ specific needs, programs and goals - Implementing client specific goals, IEP / BSP; teaching based on principles of ABA and other evidence based practices. **Qualifications & Experience**: - A minimum of 2 years of full-time strong experience supporting individuals who have a developmental / intellectual disability with complex needs. - Must have a **Community College** diploma or **University** degree in a relevant discipline (CYW, DSW, BA, BST etc) - Applicants with a Career College Diploma in a relevant discipline (CYC, DSW, SSW etc) must also have a minimum of 5 years of full-time strong experience supporting individuals who have a developmental disability with complex needs. - Previous knowledge and experience implementing principles of ABA - Competent with collecting and analyzing data - Vulnerable Sector Check required; VSC accepted if within the last 6 months - Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (must be from a WSIB approved provider) - Crisis training (CPI, SMG, UMAB); it is mandatory the you take CPI crisis training through wm+a. **Associate Testimonial**: "wm+a provided me with excellent opportunities to grow as a person and build experience and develop my skills.
