Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated **Apprentice Carpenter** to join our team and learn the craft of finish carpentry from experienced professionals. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for woodworking.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior carpenters with measuring, cutting, and installing trim, moldings, cabinetry, and other finish elements.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Take direction from supervisors and work collaboratively with the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Interest in pursuing a career in carpentry.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (experience is an asset but not required).
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
- Attention to detail and willingness to take on challenges.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: On the road
