Experienced 3 Ton Truck Delivery Driver

**Full - Time permanent with benefits**
**Start time: 6AM to 4PM (shift end time will vary)**
**Working days: Monday to Friday**
**No Weekends or Holidays**
- **Overtime: is based on freight volume and delays ie. weather, mechanical etc.**_
- **Earnings potential from $2,000.00 bi-weekly on average (during training and beyond)**_

**What you will do**:

- _**Drive a 3 ton commercial truck**_ to deliver and or pick up freights to assigned stops within rural areas outside of Saskatoon (country routes)
- _**Deliver freights**_ in good condition and within scheduled time _**(approximately 25 to 40 deliveries/day)**_
- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
- _**Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet jack. Lift and carry up to 70lbs.**_
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- **Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection**:

- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

**What we require of you**:

- High School Diploma
- _**Class 5 License is a must**_
- Valid Class 3 Commercial Driver’s License is an asset
- Possess a Clean Commercial and Personal Driver’s Abstract
- Courier or LTL experience is an asset
- Minimum 1 year _**COMMERCIAL TRUCK DELIVERY DRIVING**_ experience
- This shift will be Monday to Friday from 6AM start time working approximately 9 hours/day
- _**Lift and Carry freight up to 70 lbs. and load in proper sequence of delivery with the use of a dolley and or a pallet jack**_
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
- Customer Focus - experience providing quality customer service
- Adaptable to change
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Experience working independently and with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work on a team and being a team player
