**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team in the food service industry. The Shift Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service quality.

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Monitor financial performance during shifts, including cash handling and reporting.
- Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service quality and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
