** Supervisor, Planning & Support Equipment**

The Supervisor, Planning & Support Equipment will lead and coordinate mine maintenance employees and resources responsible for support equipment. Lead the team to deliver safe, responsible and effective mine maintenance services. Support, coach, train and create space for the team to be successful.

** Key Responsibilities**

Leading and coordinating mine maintenance resources.

Area 1:

- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
- Lead and empower employees in achieving world class mobile maintenance services and improve employee work performance and efficiency through mentorship and feedback.
- Create space for the team to be effective in delivering results.
- Foster and inclusive work environment.
- Provide clear work objectives and expectations of the performance levels required to achieve business plans and maintenance targets.
- Ensure that training is provided in accordance with the current and future needs of Côté Gold.
- Ensure the required resources (people and equipment) are in place to achieve targets.
- Promote a high performance culture by setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching.
- Offer new approaches, methods or policies to optimize performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
- Perform worksite inspections and safe work observations; participate in and lead investigations.
- Build teams with different combinations of strength and skills for a specific job.
- Will lead and maintain the professionalism of the team by being a good example of discipline and dedication.

Area 2:
Operational excellence.
- Able to analyze maintenance key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Critical thinker with the ability to coordinate activities to maximize value added, reduce cost and improve safety.
- Does not accept the status que and always striving for continuous improvement.
- Work in collaboration to drive solutions and achieve common goals.
- Be a stakeholder of the Cote Gold Golden Rules.

Area 3:
Work collaboratively with others to deliver operational reliability.
- Provides leadership, motivation and clear direction to the maintenance execution work force on shift.
- Coordinate with other team members on site to meet shift deliverables.
- Highly invested in professional growth and development of maintenance execution team members.
- Participate in and lend your expertise to the team.
- Communicate clearly and effectively using the tools provided.
- Ensure equipment logs and shift logs are accurate and complete.
- Ensure any deficiencies are communicated to the appropriate team members for follow up.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver results and achieve common goals.

Qualifications

**Minimum Requirements and Nice To Haves**

minimum qualifications, formal education, certifications or equivalents
- College diploma in heavy equipment technician or another related field.
- Certificate of Qualification in Ontario is preferred.
- Completed apprenticeship is required.

Work experience - Nature & Length
- 7 or more years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician.
- 1 or more years of leadership experience.
- Previous exposure to lean and multi-disciplinary team leadership is desirable, but not essential.
- Digital literacy and experience with fleet management systems is required.

- Demonstrated ability to engage and empower multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven communication skills, both verbal, written and non-verbal.
- Computer proficiency.
- Understand efficiency drivers in a mining and milling operation.
- Self-motivated individual who is driven to find solutions and strive for continuous improvement in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Can take decision based on the facts.
- Can communicate the level of importance for the action or strategy to be implemented.
- Knows equipment in term of structure and functions.
