**Support Workers **assists persons served to live successfully in a group living setting, implementing the philosophy and values of Communitas. The Support Worker ensures that the physical, emotional, social, educational, and medical needs of the persons served are being met, with a view towards helping each person grow to their full potential.

**LOCATION**

Fort Langley, BC

**Here's what you can expect**:
Support Workers are expected to work according to pre-determined schedules as per program needs. Each schedule will have day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts unless otherwise stated.

This position requires a moderate level of physical fitness. Some lifting/transferring of persons served and assistance with personal care required.

- The ability to take initiative with creativity
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to maintain honest, direct and respectful relationships
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Good written and verbal English skills
- Possession of a valid Class 5 BC drivers license
- Possession of a valid Emergency First Aid Certificate with CPR
- Doctors Note of Good Health
- TB Test
- Driving Record Abstract
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
