**CAPABILITIES**:
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
**JOB DUTIES**:
- Inspect work area and equipment at the beginning of shift.
- Control sheets input-Manual
- Staff time sheets - on bottom of man day sheets
- Attend all safety meetings and take notes if requested by a Supervisor
- Checking camp for safety concerns
- Assuring accurate records of the following: Client and staff complaints, Office supplies, First aid supplies, Tail gate meetings, Janitorial inventory in each dorm, and Linen inventory
- All maintenance issues contact the Camp Manager/Operations Manager, prior to calling service companies
- Daily walk abouts for camp inspections
- Signage call Melinda
- Inventory faxed to office each week with cooks grocery order
- All other office related duties
- Meetings with client. Discussing any camp concerns
- Maintain accurate crew count (Camp Manager program)
- Hold tail gate meetings when requested
- Filing system and desk kept tidy and organized
- Record outside calls for staff
- Report and record work place accidents/incidents to head office
- Customer complaints and inquiries handled in a professional and immediate manner. Report to Camp Manager/Supervisor
- Assist in all areas when required
- If there is no Camp Manager assuring accurate records for the following may apply: Propane consumption, Waste management (Sewage), Water consumption, Fuel records, Generator maintenance, Dumpster schedules, and all other general maintenance as required.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Morning**
- Update check-ins from the night before
- Print off daily management summary and send to office (from previous day)
- Print off housekeeping lists
- Camp attendants informed of any complaints
- Enter casual meals
- Enter rig box fees under misc. Charges
- Meeting with manager each morning with all issues.
**Evening**
- Print off and post (or write) on board the daily dinner menu.
- Update dorm lists from camp attendants
- Daily charge sheet update
- Print 3 copies of room lists. 1 for keeps, post one on bulletin board and one the clip board in the office
- Leave a list of 6 or 8 rooms and keys with the night baker for late check-ins. (you will need to check and make sure that the rooms are actually available)
- When time permits check room prior to clients moving in. VIP’s for sure
**Weekly**
**(USUALLY ON SUNDAY MORNING BUT CAN BE DONE ON SATURDAY NIGHT)**
- Print off weekly charge sheets and send to office
- Print off weekly charge sheet summary and send to office
- Copy charge sheets forward
- Fill out payroll time sheets and send to office
- Represent Western Camp Services in a manner that represents and holds true to our core values and standards.
- Assist with unloading, loading and stacking of all groceries and supplies.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Must possess good communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
- Must have WHMIS ticket.
- Must have completed Western Camp Services GSO.
- Must have Standard First Aid Certification with CPR.
- Must be fluent and literate in the English language.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Previous housekeeping experience.
- Must be in good health and physical condition to perform the duties assigned.
- Must comply with the company drug & alcohol, and criminal background screening policies and procedures.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Frequent standing/walking/sitting
- Frequent computer usage
- Occasional squatting, kneeling, bending
- Able to lift up to 8.9 kg (20 lbs) occasionally and up to 4.4 kg (10 lbs) frequently
