About Us:
We are a rapidly growing food company with a strong presence in wholesale, retail, and online sales. Operating out of two locations, we specialize in delivering high quality food products to a diverse customer base. As we expand further across Alberta, we are seeking an experienced Food Production Manager to lead and optimize our commercial kitchen operations.

Role Overview: The Production Manager will oversee the entire production process across both locations, ensuring efficient food production, packaging, an distribution. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of food production standards to support our growth and maintain exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day operations in the South commercial kitchen
- Supervise production schedules, ensuring timely and quality output
- Oversee packaging processes aligned with food safety and branding standards
- Coordinate logistics for distribution across wholesale, retail and online channels
- Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation protocols
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maximize productivity and compliance
- Collaborate with supply chain and sales teams to forecast production needs
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for raw materials
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in food production management within a commercial kitchen or food manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and standards and packaging best practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Leadership and team management experience
- Familiarity with wholesale, retail, and e-commerce distribution channels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, expanding business environment

Compensation:

- Salary range: CAD$75,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
