Job Title: Program Coordinator
Location: Ace Community College, Surrey, BC.
**Salary**: $60000 - $70000 / year
About Us:
Ace Community College is dedicated to providing quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment for our diverse student body. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Program Coordination:
- Develop and implement program plans, ensuring alignment with the community college's mission and goals.
- Coordinate curriculum development, assessment, and improvement activities.
- Collaborate with faculty to enhance program effectiveness and student success.
2. Student Support:
- Provide guidance and support to students, assisting them in navigating academic requirements.
- Address student concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive campus environment.
- Organize and oversee student events, workshops, and activities.
3. Campus Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for campus operations.
- Oversee facility management, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth and efficient campus operation.
4. Collaboration:
- Liaise with academic departments, administrative staff, and external stakeholders.
- Foster relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders.
- Collaborate with other campus managers and coordinators for cross-functional initiatives.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, student interactions, and campus events.
- Prepare regular reports for college leadership, highlighting program achievements and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration, or relevant experience-related field
- Proven experience in program coordination and campus management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with educational technology and software.
