The Role

**What’s the role?**

BMT Canada is recruiting for a Communications Specialist to join our Program Services team on a term contract. Our team helps to deliver complex programs through the integration of program management, systems engineering, and change management practices. We help clients maintain a clear view of their goals and their realization and support this visibility throughout our engagement. Our people make the difference by working as trusted members of clients' teams, our respected and experienced consultants work with impartiality to fulfil clients' requirements. Knowledge transfer to our clients is a key element of all our engagements, as our goal is to set up our clients for success.
- Working with senior staff to develop communications strategies
- Developing communications policy as required
- Guiding the client’s communications to senior government agencies, and to the Canadian Armed Forces personnel
- Developing and coordinating communications products.

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible team members, who possess the following knowledge, experience, and skills:

- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in Communications
- Diploma or degree
- Ability to qualify in existing procurement categories
- Current Canadian security clearance, or ability to obtain

Desirable Experience:

- Experience Working with management and senior staff to develop a successful and celebrated communications program
- Preparing communications strategies and policies
- Writing and editing communications products
- Working with one or more departments of the Government of Canada.
