Steele Heights Baptist Church (SHBC) is a multi-cultural church located in North East
Edmonton. We are made up of people who love Jesus and are best known for our
community outreach. We have an average Sunday attendance of 350-400
people between our two onsite and online services.

SHBC is seeking a dynamic full-time Worship Pastor. The need for this new position
came out of our expansion into a multi-service Sunday morning format. It offers an
exciting opportunity for a growth-minded leader to build, coordinate, and provide
be the main link between the different areas of ministry involved in the online and
onsite Sunday Morning worship experience.

Pay: Offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Report to: Lead Pastor

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading and scheduling all elements of ministry operations associated with
Sunday Worship services with extra attention given to special, seasonal
services.
- Working closely with the Lead Pastor in the development of sermon series.
- Growing, planning and improving upon the worship ministries at SHBC.
- Overseeing and developing music and creative arts while offering guidance

and training.
- Editing and producing media & live streamed services.
- Offering direction to ushers and tech teams as needed.
- Recruiting and leading volunteers involved in worship ministries.
- Participating with the pastoral team in performing other general pastoral

duties.

**Qualifications**:

- Born again believer of Jesus Christ.
- Leadership capabilities and competency.
- Served in a church with multi-site or multi-service. (preferred)
- Skilled and experienced musician and worship music leader.
- Working knowledge of necessary media and digital technology associated

with dynamic worship style and online access.
- Works well in a team setting and possesses a positive and loving attitude.
- Bachelor's Diploma or Degree (pastoral/worship) and three years of church

leadership experience (internship experience recognized).
- Cleared Police Security Check and Vulnerable Sector Search (paid)
