**Job Posting: Worship and Connection Pastor**

This position ministers to the Southwest Campus congregation by providing leadership and direction to Southwest Beulah Worship (music and production teams) along with Guest Services and Connections.

**Position Type**: Permanent, full-time, 40hrs/wk

**Location**: Southwest Campus, 5055 Chappelle Rd, SW Edmonton

**Role responsibilities**:
Worship
- Lead weekly service planning with musical and artistic elements, and leading hosting, pastoral moments, transitions, use of scripture, prayer, and other creative elements in weekend services.
- Collaborate with Central Beulah Worship in creation of global moments and worship experiences on weekends resourced by Themes and Design and Special Service Lead Team.
- Work with Central Beulah Worship in a unified worship culture including envisioning worship philosophy, strategy, onboarding, and lay leader involvement in Central Beulah Worship team events.
- Recruit, train, resource, and coach lay leaders and volunteers of music and production teams.
- Lead musical worship at the Southwest Campus during weekend services alongside lay-led teams.
- Oversee all technical aspects of the weekend experience as it relates to A/V/L.
- Maintain all schedules as it relates to weekend and special services.
- Oversee assigned ministry budgets.
- Provide musical leadership in staff settings including Staff Gatherings and other staff events.

Guest Services & Connection
- Collaborate with the Campus Pastor to recruit and train lay leaders and volunteers (e.g. greeters).
- Inspire teams to focus on a seamless guest experience from parking lot to auditorium.
- Collaborate with Central Ministries to see a unified strategy and philosophy of Guest Services at Southwest.
- Collaborate with Central Ministries for central special events (e.g. Christmas, Easter).

General Pastoral Responsibilities
- Serve as a visible, accessible leadership presence at weekend services and other community gatherings.
- Provide pastoral support as required. Including spiritual direction and assessing immediate needs.
- Minister to the congregation by performing weddings, baptisms, and funerals, and administering sacraments as required.

**What will make you thrive**:

- 5 years’ experience in ministry or a related field of employment.
- Graduate from an arts program with a degree or diploma, or equivalent arts experience.
- As a member of clergy must be fully licensed with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination in Canada.
- Ability to use standard computer office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of technical equipment and ability to communicate how to maximize its use for improved service delivery.
- Experience coaching and mobilizing teams and individuals to create different worship expressions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement projects.
- A passion for seeing artists develop and use their gifts to minister to others.
- Primary spiritual gifts: creative communication and leadership.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to work in a large multi-staff setting.
