Novipro is looking for a **Junior Chief Operating Officer**. This is a **12 month renewable** mandate for one of our well-known clients in the banking industry. This mandate is in **hybrid mode**, a minimum of 2 days in the office in downtown Montreal. Are you interested?

**Missions**:
This client opened its Canadian headquarters in Montreal in 1974 to offer its financial services to corporations, financial institutions and governments. The Toronto and Calgary offices were opened in 1978 and 2006 respectively.

It now employs over four hundred people, both in the traditional banking sector (investment banking, funds and trading activities) and in the field of information technology, with the opening of its Montreal Solutions Centre subsidiary which, thanks to its geographical location and its cultural diversity, provides computer support and development for the New York and Paris teams.

The Chief Operating Office (COO) team manages all IT financial and referentials environments. These topics include budgets, staffing, projects, reporting, process review/definition along with reporting.

**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**:

- Within the COO team work to manage IT referentials, handle internal IT client requests, produce reports and manage project and staffing follow ups.
- Work with developers in COO team with AGILE process currently in place
- Contribute to adhoc COO activities
- Interact with various GTS and GBSU teams on COO initiatives / projects
- Represent GTS AMER's interests in meetings with other regions
- Execute quarterly controls to spot anomalies and maintain accurate referentials
- Create and maintain dashboards in the DEV/PRD environment
- Assist with some vendor management topics

- SQL querying / relational database familiarity

- Knowledge of Flexera
- Managing technical referential tools (Apptio)
