Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Accounting, the Business Analyst, will be a member of the BSG accounting team and contribute to the process automation and process improvements in the BSG teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Review business processes and identify opportunities for automation solutions
- Identify, document, design and build process automations using ‘citizen developer’ toolset
- Perform business analysis functions including requirements gathering, documentation, process design, functional and technical specifications development, testing and training activities
- Coordinate design, build and delivery activities with supporting technology groups
- Lead smaller initiatives including planning, documenting, and executing project plans
- Communicate and collaborate with decision-makers, system owners, and end users to analyze information needs and functional requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working as a business analyst/business systems analyst;
- Ability to understand and write code in at least one programming language (Understanding of Data types, Conditional Statements, Loops, Nested Loops)
- Working knowledge of process automation tools such as Alteryx, UiPath (or similar RPA tool) and Power Automate;
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations; ability to manage time effectively;
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them to code and to build processes
- Ability to identify problems and deal with situations and issues proactively;
- Ability to “think outside the box”, and embrace a dynamic, complex, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment;

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Information Technology or related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a business analysis, programming or finance capacity;
- Bilingualism (French and English) will be considered an asset;
- Experience with D365 ERP solution considered an asset;
- Familiarity with websites used for trouble shooting errors in code considered an asset;
- Knowledge of Excel Macros (VBA) considered an asset;
