**About Us**:
We are Manitoba's leading swim school, dedicated to equipping individuals with essential lifesaving skills. We are currently seeking a certified and experienced Lifesaving Society and First Aid Instructor to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the community by teaching critical lifesaving skills

.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach Lifesaving Society and First Aid courses to individuals and groups of varying ages and experience levels.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons, demonstrating effective teaching techniques and promoting a safe learning environment.
- Administer and evaluate written and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate course records and report any incidents or concerns in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on the latest program updates related to First Aid and Lifesaving.

**Qualifications**:

- Current Lifesaving Society Instructor certification
- Current First Aid Instructor certification
- Current Standard First Aid certification
- Current Bronze Cross or National Lifeguard certification
- Previous experience teaching First Aid, and or Lifesaving Society Bronze Star, Medallion, and Cross courses is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students of various ages and backgrounds.
- Passion for safety and teaching others lifesaving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends (as required by course schedules).

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
