Project Administration Officer

**Eligibility**:Must be 18 years of age or older, and plan to attend a post-secondary institution in the academic year 2025-26.
**About the Role**:We're looking for a motivated and community-minded **Project Administration Officer** to join our team In this dynamic and meaningful role, you'll be supporting the day-to-day operations of a vibrant community music initiative that brings together newcomers and locals through singing, language learning, and cultural exchange.
This is an ideal role for someone who is organized, outgoing, creative, and passionate about community building, music, and inclusion.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Rehearsal and Performance Support**: Assist with planning and conducting choir rehearsals and concerts.
- **Communications & Marketing**: Help manage social media accounts, create content, and support advertising and outreach efforts.
- **Community Engagement**: Liaise with local organizations, language schools, community groups, and individual participants (both newcomers and locals).
- **Administrative Support**: Perform general administrative tasks and assist with event planning and coordination.
- **Peer Support & Connection**: Help facilitate peer support among choir members and encourage social interaction and belonging.
- **Materials Prep**: Support the research and preparation of musical and educational materials, including introductory ESL materials.
- **Project Management**: Help track timelines, tasks, and project milestones.
- **Event Coordination**: Support and organize social gatherings, performances, and other special events.
**Reports to**:NCAC Executive Director
**Days off/vacation**:All statutory holidays and 5 days of paid vacation.
**You Might Be a Great Fit If You**:
- Are organized, reliable, and self-motivated
- Have excellent communication skills
- Enjoy working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Have experience (formal or informal) with teaching, community programming, event planning, or music
- Are comfortable using social media platforms and basic design tools
- Are passionate about inclusion, community development, and the arts
- Have an interest in music, education, language learning, or immigration settlement work
**Assets (but not required)**:
- ESL teaching or tutoring experience
- Previous community engagement or facilitation experience
- Background in music or choral singing
- Grant writing experience
