Rossdown Natural Foods is seeking out an experienced **Shipping and Receiving Lead Hand.**

**Full-Time Shift**

**Lead Hand Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Receiving and _Put Away_ of dry goods into warehouse
- Picking and delivering dry goods to production locations
- Picking orders
- Cycle counting inventory
- WIP cooler counts
- Month end inventory counts
- Year end inventory count
- Supervises staff on the specified shift to ensure that all employees are working safely, efficiently, and diligently to meet established standards
- Ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of all orders (inbound and outbound).
- Responsible in helping the shift supervisors run the floor
- Freezer picking/inventory, picking orders, covering palletizing line for others breaks, loading & unloading trucks & trailers, fixing picking and inventory errors.
- Running day or afternoon shift for vacation coverage of supervisor
- Inventory maintenance & cycle counts
- Export preparations, labeling, and documentation if required etc.
- Coordinate and follow-up with productions for product shortage

**Lead Hand Requirements & Competencies**:

- 2 years minimum in the acquisition of Shipping & Receiving Skills
- Knowledge of Warehousing Best Practices
- Strong communication skills
- Able to instruct and maintain effective and efficient productivity
- Process flow minded, continuous improvement mentality
- Works independently with mínimal direction
- Works well under pressure
- Safety of team members a no-compromise position
- Able to treat all employees with fairness and respect
- Excellent multi-tasking skills

Wage: $23.30/hr

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.30 per hour
