**Summer Student - General Labourer**:
**Position: General Labourer (Fulltime/Term)**

**Hourly Rate**: $19.83

**Location**:Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

We are looking for college and university students to join our team for the summer months. Employment will run until the end of August.

**This position requires rotating shift work.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with machine set up and operation
- Verify print specifications with production copy
- Stack products
- Visually inspect product for errors
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health, safety and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment
- Abide by all rules and regulations of the company

**Work Conditions & Physical Demands**:

- Extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching at or above shoulder level, stooping, crawling, climbing, and kneeling
- Vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color identification
- Working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Noise, dust, slippery surfaces, extreme heat/cold
- Frequent overtime may be required
- Rotating shift work

**Qualifications**:
Applicants should have the following:

- High School Diploma
- Must be currently enrolled in a university or college program
- Ability to learn to operate a variety of production equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
- Commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work as part of a team
