**Purpose**:
To provide logístical support in the procurement, receiving and issuing of materials, supplies, and tools to CSBO units in support of the effective operation and maintenance of University buildings and infrastructure. Logistical support is provided but not limited to custodial, grounds, maintenance, utilities, and housing services at all York campuses.

**Education**:
High school graduation or equivalent with some community college courses or technical learning.

**Experience**:
Three (3) years related experience including responsibility for inventory control.

**Skills**:
Customer services skills in order to respond in a positive and supportive manner to customers and build and maintain good customer relations, cooperative team approach in performing daily duties, basic accounting knowledge and ability to work accurately with numbers, computer skills in order to learn how to use the Maximo inventory and Computral C6000 computer systems, interpersonal skills in order to answer phone calls and respond professionally to inquiries, initiative to organize and prioritize daily work, handle emergency situations and respond to deadlines, knowledge of procurement procedures and inventory control procedures, knowledge of technical/mechanical, electrical, plumbing and caretaking products inventory, class 'G' drivers licence in good standing, ability to operate fork lift, understand and effectively follow WHIMIS and/or be willing to be trained, ability to work in a team environment, participate in training sessions, understand and follow University and department policies and procedures, able to physically move inventory which may involve climbing of ladders, lifting, prolonged standing, driving fork lift and using hand pump truck.
