**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to assess property values, market trends, and potential investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess the feasibility and performance of real estate investments and projects.
- Analyze current property performance, identifying areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and investment summaries for senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits of databases for optimum performance and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Accounting, Operations, Marketing) to ensure accurate asset data and reporting.
- Prepare reports and presentations on asset status, performance, and financial impacts for management.
- Assist in the due diligence process for property acquisitions, dispositions, and lease negotiations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support the overall real estate strategy.
- Monitor local and regional market conditions, zoning regulations, and economic trends that may impact property performance.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis and research to optimize property portfolios and maximize returns.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in real estate asset management, investment analysis, or a related field, preferably in the multi-family sector.
- Proven experience in property analysis, real estate investment, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, property valuation, and investment analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, analytical tools (Power BI, SAS, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Ability to synthesize complex data and present actionable insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Alberta real estate markets, regulations, and industry trends is a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems), SQL, Yardi or other property management software.
- Familiarity with property management operations and leasing strategies.
