**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving activities.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage logistics effectively.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Coordinate materials handling and heavy lifting tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, utilizing AS400 or similar systems.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams to fulfill online orders efficiently.
- Support third-party logistics (3PL) operations as required.
**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Experience in warehouse distribution and logistics operations.
- Proven ability in process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff.
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role is preferred.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance is a plus.
