Dandelion Dental and Klondyke Dental are looking to hire a personable Treatment Coordinator with minimum of 3 years’ experience. The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible to prepare and present treatment plans and financial estimates to patients for all prescribed treatment, coordinate and schedule appointments.
To be successful as a Treatment Coordinator, you should be very well organized and have excellent communication skills as well as a professional appearance. Knowledge of dental insurance and terminology combined with proficiency in basic mathematic skills. Ultimately, a top-performing Treatment Coordinator will perform all duties in a manner that ensures the efficient running of the dental practice.
**Treatment Coordinator Responsibilities**:
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
- Enter all relevant patient information into data system
- Answer and manage incoming calls
- Respond and comply to requests for information
- Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments as needed
- Organize referrals to other medical specialists
- Prepare claim forms for dental insurance pre-determinations
- Arrange supporting documents for insurance claims
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
- General education degree or high school diploma
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis would be an asset
- Good telephone etiquette
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in basic mathematic skills
- Previous experience is preferred but willing to train the right person
