**Position Summary**:
A Hartrodt in Toronto is looking for a Inside Sales Executive to join our local sales force.
The initial focus of this role is primarily business development and new client acquisition in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario and neighboring provinces.
The main task that come with the position is to cultivate new business relationships with clients, follow up internal and external leads and business opportunities as well as cultivate relationships with established / existing company’s accounts.
This position is best suited for a person with 1 or more years in the international logistics sales field. The role requires someone who is assertive and sales driven, expressive and well spoken, amiable and energetic, mentally flexible and problem solver.
**Essential Duties and Accountabilities**:
**Full-Cycle Sales**:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with the company’s development plans.
- Support the outside sales team by scheduling appointments with potential customers.
- Liaise with the local and overseas teams to provide top quality customer service to new clients.
- Negotiate payments and business terms and conditions basing on the company’s policy.
**Customer Maintenance**:
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with existing and new customers.
- Identify and offer new service proposals to increase volume generated by the account and improve profitability.
- Positively manage service complaints and implement corrective action plans on future shipments.
- Support the accounting team to obtain payments and monitor the payment performance of clients.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
- Preferably a degree qualification in related fields: business, sales, marketing and logistics or a combination of education and progressively responsible experience in the industry.
- One or more years of experience in **international freight forwarding and in a sales role **is a must.
- Proficiency with sales planning and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated personal presentation, oral & written skills.
- Bi-Lingual capabilities considered an asset.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
