Job description:_
Under the responsibility of the Plant Services Manager, the Customer Service Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Glopak Division Customer Service Departments and its internal and external customers.
More specifically:
- Act as customer representative for specific large Glopak accounts
- Direct and supervise Customer Service Representatives in Montreal.
- Provide direction, conduct annual performance appraisals, provide/arrange for appropriate training & development.
- Create a culture of 100% responsibility for customer satisfaction and sales growth.
- Act as an advocate for the customer in the Hood Packaging organization.
- Participate actively in the decision making regarding serving customers as part of the Customer Service/Sales Management Team
- Assist and participate in sales and marketing initiatives.
- Customize service programs to meet individual customer needs.
- Solicit and use feedback from sales associates and customers to promote continuous improvement in quality, throughput, service, and communication.
- Education:_
- University degree in business or any other related field
- Or technical (DEC) degree in a related field and experience combined.
- Experiences:_
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry or in customer service in a B2B manufacturing company.
- Experience in team management
- Experience in managing large account
- Skills and Requirements:_
- Capacity to travel occasionally
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Strong conflict management
- Interest in the packaging and food industry
