Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home is currently recruiting for a full time professional to join our dedicated team.

**Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home**, is a 57-bed facility located on the 2nd & 3rd floors of 285 Pembina Highway in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

You will receive referrals for admission and have pre-admission/consultation visits to determine suitability for placement in collaboration with the team, as well as maintain an accurate and current wait list. You will be responsible for coordinating all Resident Care Conferences, and will act as the facility’s Privacy Officer. Your role plays a significant part in promoting and maintaining a positive, professional, service-conscious, team-oriented approach to resident care needs in accordance with the mission, values, management philosophy, and various standards of practice, regulations, and guidelines.

You may be responsible for directing other Nurses, Students, Health Care Aides, and other support staff in the performance of resident care. You will collaborate with Resident Care managers, physicians and members of the health care team within the facility and the community to support quality care and service delivery. You may temporarily assume the responsibility of Resident Care Manager in their absence.

Demonstrated knowledge and exceptional skills in leadership and management in a healthcare setting are required. One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to deal with difficult situations in a professional and calm manner while exercising sound judgement, and a collaborative approach in your independent decision making skills on a daily basis. You have a proven ability to organize and facilitate meetings with families, and other interdisciplinary team members.

You must hold a current valid license with the CRNM. A certificate in Gerontology is preferred. Proficient computer skills, and previous knowledge and experience with MDS/Care Management Systems are an asset.

As travel may be required, a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, and full access to an appropriately insured motor vehicle is required.

**Salary**: $82,059.00-$98,954.00 per year
