**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Store Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in leading the team, managing inventory, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the management of store operations to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver excellent service while fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee inventory management, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Train and develop team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and store policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance store visibility.
- Maintain store appearance by ensuring cleanliness and organization of merchandise displays.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in retail sales or management is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in administrative duties related to retail operations.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally.
- Ability to sell products through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for retail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
